In simple words; positive emotions release dopamine and serotonin, chemicals that allow us to feel pleasure and increase activity in our brain’s learning center. Therefore, helping us process faster and retain new information longer. Conclusively, numerous successful and influential individuals seem to share and practice similar habits, to achieve a better self, both in career and personal growth. Implement a few of these quick and uncomplicated habits into your routine to be the person you are eager to become. Why let a few hurdles stop you from crossing the finishing line?

Any sort of physical activity for at least 15 to 30 minutes each day can have an unbelieve impact on your day to day. While it helps reduce risk of disease, strengthen muscles and have countless other physical benefits. Overall, a quick way to develop and improve self esteem entirely, and in result even confidence. The way in which you present yourself will change drastically. Though everyone has their very own preferred rituals that work for them, they all serve the same purpose. Whether you are an entrepreneur making waves from the comfort of your penthouse, or whether you are stocking shelves at a supermarket, a morning routine sets the tone for the rest of your day. There are innumerable worries we cannot control in our lives, this routine will be the first step to taking back control, while increasing productivity and reducing stress. However, you must figure out what suits your lifestyle, and don’t worry there are diverse options. Just the simple act of making your bed will give you a sense of achievement while a morning run can boost energy. It also meanings; vitamin D, improvement in mood, increased motivation. If running isn’t for you, take your morning coffee by the balcony or go for a walk with it, and get the same amount of serotonin and dopamine.

I think we can all agree that the toughest part of life and the answer to most of our problems is; ‘time management.’ Balance is what we crave for, but find so hard to obtain. Our generation spends an average of 6 hours on social media platforms per day. Switching off your phone after a day’s work means more quality relationships, thereby reducing stress and creating more memories that induce dopamine. Alternatively, your creativity and productivity will show signs of improvement as well, allowing you to give a 100% to more meaningful matters.
